OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — The Texas Wesleyan Men's Soccer team fell 1-0 at Oklahoma City on Tuesday.

The Rams outshot the Stars on goal 8 to 2, but all TXWES attempts were saved by OCU's keeper, Danilo Vilani, who recorded his third clean sheet of the season.

After a scoreless first half, the Stars found the back of the net in the 58
th minute to take the lead. From there, they successfully defended a frenzied attack from TXWES to win 1-0 and snap a three-game skid.

Mathis Guffroy took 7 of the Rams 19 total shots. Just a minute before OCU's score, Guffroy launched a shot that nearly went in but deflected off the crossbar.Â

Bastian Blumenberg recorded one save of OCU's 2 shots on goal.

The loss brings TXWES to 6-5-2 overall and 1-3-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference. Meanwhile, OCU is now 8-5-0 and 2-4 in the league.
