WSOC shutout at OCU

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — The Texas Wesleyan Women's Soccer team fell 1-0 at OCU on Tuesday night.
 
After a scoreless first half from both teams, the Stars scored what would be the game winner in the 70thminute. 
 
In the remaining 20 minutes, TXWES took 4 shots, 2 of which were on target by Kristen Carter and Danica Kunschik, but the attempts were saved by OCU.
 
 TXWES keeper Julia Villalobos finished with 5 saves bringing her total to 51 this season. 
 
The loss is the fourth in a row for the Lady Rams who drop to 5-5-2 overall and 0-4-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference. With OCU's fifth shutout win this season, the Stars are now 8-5 overall and 3-3 in the league.
 
The Lady Rams remain on the road for their next match at Oklahoma Panhandle State on Saturday, Oct. 23.
