KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The NAIA has announced the recipients of the 2021 Women's Volleyball All-America teams. Bailey Foy, a senior from Paris, Texas, repeated as a first team selection, while Veronika Webb, a senior from Arlington, Texas, was an honorable mention selection.
 
The volleyball program now boasts 29 All-Americans all-time. The team has also placed at least on player on the All-America list in each season since 2015.

"Bailey and Veronika have been a vital part of moving this program forward the past few years," commented head coach Jessica Ransom. "Having two extremely strong Middle Blockers allowed us to have 6 solid rotations. From a coach's perspective, they are the epitome of All American. Not only are they great volleyball players, but phenomenal human beings off the court. Their work ethic is amazing and proves that hard work really does pay off. We are so proud of what they've earned to wrap up their playing career." 
 
Foy, the SAC MVP, becomes the just the second player in program history to be selected to the first team twice and in two consecutive season. The last player to achieve the feat was Kristen Tuttle, who won first team designations in the 1989 and 1990 seasons.
 
Foy once again had an impressively efficient season attacking the ball, hitting .421, which ranks second in the nation. She tallied 333 kills and got in on 95 blocks this season. She was named SAC player of the week four times in 2021. Foy is majoring in Theology.
 
Webb ranks third in the nation in hitting at .409. The senior notched 307 kills and led the team with 94 total blocks in 2021. She was also named a First Team SAC selection. Webb is majoring Psychology.
 
The team ranks sixth in the nation in hitting (.272), tenth in kills per set (13.80). The Lady Rams also rank eighth in assists per set (13.06), and 12th in total assists (1,625).
 
TXWES finished the season with a 25-8 overall record as the 23rd ranked team in the NAIA. The team won the SAC regular season champions, its first conference title since 2005. The Lady Rams also reached the NAIA National Championship final site in, its fifth consecutive appearance at the national championship and 14th all-time.
 
In just four seasons, head coach Jessica Ransom, the 2021 SAC Coach of the Year, is up to 96 wins. An abbreviated 2020 season notwithstanding, Ransom has led the team to at least 24 wins each season. The team went 18-5 in 2020. At 96-34, she holds a .738 winning percentage.

Around the SAC, MACU's Hannah Foeker was a second team selection, while Oklahoma City's Sopia Salak, SAGU's Alexis Mealer and Wayland's Lucie Mahelova recieved honorable mention tags.
