FORT WORTH, Texas — The Texas Wesleyan Volleyball team swept Southwestern Christian in straight sets (25-7, 25-9, 25-7) in a dominating performance on Thursday evening.

The Lady Rams outscored the Eagles 54-11 and held them to -.145 attack percentage while hitting a fantastic .500 themselves. TXWES tallied 43 kills to their 9 and had 6 aces to their none.

Nyia Anderson and
Bailey Foy had 11 kills each. Foy hit .769 upping her season hitting percentage to .459. She is presently second in the nation in that category behind Hunter Keller of Georgetown (Ky.) who is hitting .471.

Morgan Burns had 32 assists and 9 digs and two aces. Also with nine digs were Anderson and
Andrea Malek.

TXWES out-blocked the Eagles 5 to 2 with Foy accounting for 3 of those blocks.

SWCU's Faith DeSouza led her squad with 3 kills and 6 assists.

The win takes TXWES to 7-2 overall and 1-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference. SWCU drops to 1-7, 0-2 SAC.
