GOODWELL, Okla. — The Texas Wesleyan Men's Basketball team got a 86-78 road win at Oklahoma Panhandle State on Thursday night.

Sebastian Karwoski led the Rams with 25 points, just one shy of his career best he scored last season vs Arlington Baptist.

He added 9 rebounds matching
Vydal Bradford who also had a 20-point game.
Peyton Sallee rounded out the double digit Rams with 15 points. Newcomer Elijah Elliot had a team high 5 assists

OPSU was led by Jalen Thomas with 25 points.

TXWES led by as much as 10 points in the first half but in the final four minutes before the break, OPSU went on a 12-2 run during a stretch where the Rams committed 5 turnovers to tie the game at 42-all.

Both teams shot 50 percent from the field, but TXWES only went 1 for 8 at the arc while OPSU made 3 for 9 from deep.

The last half saw two ties and six lead changes as both sides duked it out for the advantage. OPSU had their final lead at the 10:55 marker but stayed within two possessions of the Rams.

With under a minute to go, the Aggies crept within 3, but a good free throw shooting TXWES team closed out the game, making 5 of 6 in the final minute to take the victory home.

The Rams finished shooting 49.2 percent on the floor, 29.4 from the arc and 78.9 at the line. OPSU went 49.2 from the field, 26.3 from deep and 55 percent at the stripe.

While the Rams made one fewer turnover than the Aggies, TXWES cashed in OPSU's 24 turnovers for 32 points, and they got 19 off Ram miscues.

TXWES moves to 9-2 overall and 4-2 in the league. OPSU drops to 4-5 and 3-5 in SAC play.
