MSOC falls at WBU

LUBBOCK, Texas — The Texas Wesleyan Men's Soccer team dropped a 9-0 match to Wayland Baptist on Tuesday at the Lubbock Christian Soccer Fields.
 
The Rams had 7 shots on goal, 4 on target but none found the back of the net. Rylen Sibley had three shots on goal and Malik Smith one.
 
TXWES keepers accounted for 7 saves with Bastian Blumenberg nabbing five in the first half and Sebastian Almaraz 2 in the second.
 
The Rams are now 2-8-1 overall and 0-5-0 in the conference. WBU is now 8-4-1 overall and 3-2-1 in the league.
 
The Rams will host Oklahoma Panhandle State on March 19 at Martin Field.
