FORT WORTH, Texas — The Texas Wesleyan Volleyball team extended their win streak to nine matches after defeating the University of the Southwest (N.M.) in straight sets (25-16, 25-17, 26-24) on Tuesday evening.
 
It is the twelfth sweep in a row for the Lady Rams who advance to 16-2 on the season. USW is 4-10 overall.
 
Nyia Anderson knocked down a team high 13 kills and had 8 digs. This week's Sooner Athletic Conference and National Attacker of the Week, Bailey Foy, hit .500 for 12 kills. She currently leads the NAIA in hitting percentage.
 
Morgan Burns recorded 35 assists and 9 digs. She has had 10 matches with over 30-plus assists this season. Ashley Curry accounted for 3 of the Lady Rams' 7 aces and added 8 digs. Andrea Malek also had 8 digs. Veronika Webb got a team high 4 blocks
 
The Lady Rams close out their regular season home slate by hosting Southwestern Assemblies of God on March 29 in the Sid Richardson Center.
