FORT WORTH, Texas — The Texas Wesleyan Volleyball Team swept Southwestern Assemblies of God in straight sets (25-22, 25-13, 25-21) on Monday night to extend their win streak to ten matches.

The sweep is the Lady Rams 13
th this season, and they complete their regular season home slate at a perfect 13-0 in the Sid Richardson Center.

TXWES suffered one of its just two losses to SAGU earlier in the season, falling to the Lions in five sets on Oct. 30 in Waxahachie, Texas. Tonight, the Lady Rams powered ahead of SAGU hitting .343 with 46 kills and 9 blocks.

Andrea Malek led the TXWES attack with a season high 10 kills.
Nyia Anderson and
Bailey Foy added 9 kills each, while
Veronika Webb tallied 8 kills. Anderson, Foy and Webb also accounted for four blocks each.

Morgan Burns got her fifth double-double of the season behind 38 assists and 10 digs.Â

With one match remaining of the regular season, the Lady Rams are 16-2 overall and 8-1 in the Sooner Athletic Conference. SAGU is 9-6, 5-1.

TXWES will close out the regular season on the road at John Brown on April 3.
