FORT WORTH, Texas — The Texas Wesleyan Women's Soccer team dropped a 1-0 match to Oklahoma City on Saturday evening at Martin Field.
 
The Stars scored a goal in the 18^th minute on what would be the game winner. They took 11 shots, 4 on target.
 
TXWES took 4 shots, two by Vanessa Soriano and one each by Danica Kunschik and Kristen Carter, but none found the back of the net.
 
Keeper Julia Villalobos had three saves all in the first half, bringing her total to 23 this year. Helping on defense were Lindsey Beckrich and Sierra Reich each with one block.
 
The Lady Rams are now 2-2 overall and in the league, while the Stars are 4-0 overall and in conference play.
 
TXWES will be on the road for the next two matches, starting first at Southwestern Assemblies of God on March 13.
