OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — The Texas Wesleyan Softball team played four games in Oklahoma the past two days, falling to No. 3 USAO twice but splitting with Mid-America Christian.

On Sunday the Lady Rams played No. 3 USAO dropping game one 8-2 and game two 7-0.

In the first game, both of TXWES runs were scored in the fourth inning.
Taylor Tubbs hit 2-3 with 1 RBI and a double.
Ashton Davis batted in a run, scoring
Kylie Summers who reached on a hit by pitch. Starter Tubbs pitched 4.1 innings and
Brynna Foster 1.2 innings.

Game two saw Davis bat 2-3 with a double, and Foster and
Mercedes Beltran each had a hit. Foster pitched the complete six innings in the loss.

On Monday, the Lady Rams challenged MACU, taking game one 6-4, but dropping game two, 10-2.

In the opener, Tubbs got the Lady Rams on the board first in the first, doubling home two runs on a ball hit deep down the left field line with two outs. MACU responded with two runs of their own in the bottom.

In the top of the third, Foster hit a leadoff homer, her second of the year. MACU once again tied it up in the bottom 3-3.

The fourth inning saw the Lady Rams take the lead again.
Cailee Hendrick hit a leadoff single and advanced to second on a Summers' sac bunt. She got to third on an
Allie Prewitt single and scored on a wild throw by the MACU catcher while Prewitt stole second.

The Evangels tied the game for a third time on a RBI single in the sixth, but the Lady Rams had more in store in the seventh. Foster reached on an error, and with two outs, Beltran singled her home. Beltran would score on MACU's second error of the inning, and fifth of the game, for the 6-4 lead.

In the bottom of seven, Tubbs struck out back-to-back Evangels then gave up a double but ended the game forcing a popup to the circle in the complete game victory.

MACU got their composure back in game two for 10-2 win. Foster went 2-3 with 1 RBI and also started the game in the circle pitching 1.1 innings.
Madison Ortiz came from the bullpen and batted in the other run.

The Lady Rams are now 13-19, 12-16 SAC and will travel to SAGU for a double header on Tuesday, April 27.
