SHREVEPORT, LA — The Texas Wesleyan Men's Soccer team dropped their road match 3-2 in overtime at LSU-Shreveport on Wednesday afternoon.
 
The Rams (4-2-1) had a 2-0 lead with 20 minutes left of the match; however, two red cards left them short-handed for a late rally by the Pilots (4-2-0).
 
In the 81^st minute, LSU-S got their first goal, and nine minutes later the same Pilot scored the equalizer with just 24 seconds left of the match. In overtime, it took the Pilots just three minutes to score the game winner.
 
Scoring goals for the Rams were James Kerr in the 52^nd minute and Mario Herrera in the 49^th minute. Keeper Hugh Elliott tallied three saves.
 
TXWES remains on the road for their next match on Sept. 18 at Texas A&M-Texarkana before returning to Martin Field to host Wayland Baptist on Sept. 28.
