VICTORIA, Texas — The Texas Wesleyan Men's Soccer team fell 2-0 at Houston-Victoria's season opener on Friday afternoon.
It was the first loss of the season for the Rams (2-1) who entered the game with 2 home wins over Arlington Baptist and Jarvis Christian.

Hugh Elliott started his second game as the TXWES keeper and finished with 3 saves.
The Jags of the Red River Athletic Conference found the back of the net twice, scoring a goal in each half to win their season opener.
TXWES will be back at Martin Field for a three match homestand beginning Sept. 6.
