Box Score 1 BELLVUE, Neb. —The Texas Wesleyan Volleyball team faced two top-15 ranked NAIA teams on Friday at the Labor Day Classic hosted by Bellevue University.
 
The Lady Rams fell in straight sets to No. 11 Central Methodist (25-10, 25-22, 25-22) and to No. 2 Jamestown (25-16, 25-16, 25-17). 
 
Junior Skylar Warde led TXWES with 8 kills in each match and averaged 10.5 digs a match. Against Central Methodist, junior Arianna Alvarado also had 8 kills, and versus Jamestown, junior Sydney Charlton knocked down 8 kills as well.
 
In her first appearances of the season, senior Morgan Burns recorded 16 and 19 assists in the respective matches.
 
On the day, freshman Katelyn Mallett finished with 6 total blocks with 4 coming against Central Methodist. In that same game, junior McKayla Flowers matched her with 4 blocks.
 
The Lady Rams finish the tournament tomorrow with matches against Doane College and Westmont College (Calif.).
