Rams sink Tigers, 72-53

FORT WORTH — The Texas Wesleyan men's basketball team (12-3, 5-2 SAC) used an energetic second half to defeat Central Christian (10-4, 4-3 SAC) 72-53 on Monday evening at The Sid.

Momentum shifted in the second half. The Tiger lead evaporated as the Rams outscored the Tigers 45 to 20. TXWES used the first nine minutes of the half to build a 14-6 run and took a 41-40 lead with 11:16 remaining.  Monster dunks from Lamine Komara and Kristian Lafayette and back-to-back threes from Elijah Elliot gave life to the Sid Richardson Center and the Rams overpowered Central Christian on the way to a 19-point win.
