TXWES Men's Basketball (2-3, 1-1 SAC) beat John Brown University (2-5, 0-2 SAC) at home Saturday in the Sid Richardson Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
  
 The Rams trailed 40-39 going into halftime. TXWES shot 12-28 (42.86%) from the field, 4-7 (57.14%) from the three-point line, and 11-13 (84.62%) from the free-throw line in the first half. In the second half, the Rams shot 16-30 (53.33%) from the field, 2-8 (25%) from the three-point line, and 10-15 (66.67%) from the free throw line.
  
 For the game, TXWES was 28-58 (48.3%) from the field, 6-15 (40%) from the three-point line, and 21-28 (75%) from the free-throw line. The Rams scored 14 second-chance points, 38 points in the paint, and 17 points off turnovers.
  
 TXWES held JBU to 26-59 (44.1%) shooting from the field, 13-35 (34.3%) from the three-point line, and 6-11 (54.5%) from the free-throw line. JBU scored 20 points in the paint, 14 points off turnovers, and two second-chance points.
  
 Five Rams scored in double figures. Keyaun Hoskins scored 20 points on 7-10 shooting, and Akili Vining scored 17. Gavin Harris and Lamine Komara each scored 14 points, and Micale Mee scored ten.

 The Rams will next play at home against Dallas Christian College on November 22, with a 6 PM tipoff. The contest will be the Rams' last game before returning from the Thanksgiving Break to play at the University of Texas-Dallas on December 1, with a scheduled 3:45 PM tipoff.
