TXWES Men's Basketball (3-3, 1-1 SAC) beat the Dallas Christian College Crusaders (1-8) at home Tuesday in the Sid Richardson Center, 111-73.

The Rams led 57-39 going into halftime. TXWES shot 20-32 (62.5%) from the field, 6-11 (54.5%) from the three-point line, and 11-12 (91.7%) from the free-throw line in the first half. In the second half, the Rams shot 21-32 (65.6%) from the field, 6-10 (60%) from the three-point line, and 6-7 (85.7%) from the free throw line.

 For the game, TXWES was 41-64 (64.1%) from the field, 12-21 (57.1%) from the three-point line, and 17-19 (89.5%) from the free-throw line. The Rams scored seven second-chance points, 30 points in the paint, and 18 points off turnovers.

 TXWES held DCC to 24-51 (47.1%) shooting from the field, 8-17 (47.1%) from the three-point line, and 17-19 (89.5%) from the free-throw line. DCC scored 20 points in the paint, no points off turnovers, and three second-chance points.

Six Rams scored in double figures.
Akili Vining scored 29 points on 9-13 shooting, and
Peyton Sallee scored 17. Juan Jones scored 14 points, with
Keyaun Hoskin and
Matt Nero each scored 13 points. The final Ram in double figures scoring was
Gavin Harris with 12 points.
The contest will be the Rams' last game before returning from the Thanksgiving Break to play at the University of Texas-Dallas on December 1, with a scheduled 7:45 PM tipoff. The Rams will not play at home again until December 20 against North American University.
