TXWES Men's Basketball (3-4, 1-2 SAC) lost to UNT-Dallas Trailblazers (4-3, 2-2 SAC) on the road Thursday at the Trinity Basin Athletic Complex, 96-71.

The Rams trailed 50-35 going into halftime. TXWES shot 12-30 (40%) from the field, 4-12 (33.33%) from the three-point line and 7-9 (77.78%) from the free-throw line in the first half. In the second half, the Rams shot 15-34 (44.12%) from the field, 4-10 (40%) from the three-point line and 2-3 (66.67%) from the free throw line.

For the game, TXWES was 27-64 (42.2%) from the field, 8-22 (36.4%) from the three-point line,and 9-12 (75%) from the free-throw line. The Rams scored ten second-chance points, 30 points in the paint and 19 points off turnovers.

TXWES held UNT-Dallas to 38-69 (55.1%) shooting from the field, 6-12 (50%) from the three-point line, and 14-17 (82.4%) from the free-throw line. UNT-Dallas scored 46 points in the paint, 19 points off turnovers and ten second-chance points.
