OKLAHOMA CITY-- The Texas Wesleyan softball team (8-4) suffered a 3-2 loss against Hastings College (5-11) to end its 7 game winning streak in the final game of the Red-Dirt Classic at Hall of Fame Stadium on Saturday afternoon..

Dylann Kaderka shutout Hastings through the first two innings of play.Â
Hastings evened the game at 1 in the bottom of the third inning with a single up the middle. Neither team was able to score a run in the next three innings of play as stellar defense and solid pitching took control of the game.
Jaeley May blasted a homerun over the center field wall to give the Lady Rams a 2-1 lead heading to the bottom of the seventh inning. Hastings answered in the bottom half of the inning with two runs which propelled them to a 3-2 victory over TXWES.
Kaderka pitched 6.2 innings and recorded 9 strikeouts in 30 batters faced. She recorded a 1.26 era in the Red-Dirt Classic. The six Lady Rams to record a hit in this game were

TXWES is 2-0 in SAC play. The Lady Rams will be back home at Sycamore Park, hosting Central Christian College in a four game series on Friday, March 11 and Saturday March 12.
