Oklahoma City-- The Texas Wesleyan baseball team (24-16, 10-8 SAC) lost the series finale against Oklahoma City (34-3, 13-2) on Saturday afternoon at Jim Wade Stadium.
OCU scored a run on an error in the first inning to take a 1-0 lead. TXWES battled back in the top of the second inning with a two run single by
Chaesten Chon to give the Rams a 2-1 lead. The Stars answered back with a two run double to regain the lead.
Marcos Sanchez tied the game at three with a groundout to score
Joseph Barfield. In the seventh and eighth inning, OCU scored five runs to close out the game.Â
Joseph Barfield recorded one hit in three at bats,
Marcos Sanchez recorded one hit and one RBI in four at-bats, and
Chaesten Chon recorded 1 hit and two RBI's.Â
Cory Didier pitched two innings, allowing one run and recording one strikeout.

TXWES will travel to Texarkana to face Texas A&M Texarkana on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
