Lady Rams fall in DH against Aggies

GOODWELL, OK—The Texas Wesleyan softball team (16-12, 10-8 SAC) dropped both games of a DH to Oklahoma Panhandle State (23-10, 10-6) on Saturday afternoon. TXWES lost 6-3 in game one and lost game 2 11-5 to the AGGIES.

Taylor Tubbs was on the rubber for TXWES in game 1. Tubbs went four and a third innings, allowing six runs on eight hits and striking out five batters. Dylann Kaderka threw one and two-thirds innings in relief.

TXWES launched one homerun on the day. Kylie Summers had a four-bagger in the third inning to make the score 2-0.

The Lady Rams fell 6-3 after OPSU came back from trailing earlier. Kylie Summers, Ajah Jackson, Brynna Foster, and Breanna Leathers each collected one hit to lead TXWES.

TXWES SB fell behind early and were not able to come back in an 11-5 loss to the Aggies on Saturday. The Lady Rams tallied three runs in the fourth inning. Kylie Summers and Hailey Hernandez powered the big inning with RBIs.

Dylann Kaderka was in the pitcher's circle for TXWES. Kaderka surrendered four runs on six hits over one and one-third innings, striking out one and walking zero. Arianna Lopez threw four and two-thirds innings in relief.

The racked up ten hits in the game. Brynna Foster, Mercedes Beltran, Jaeley May, and Kylie Summers each had multiple hits for TXWES SB. Brynna Foster, Mercedes Beltran, Jaeley May, and Kylie Summers each collected two hits to lead TXWES SB.
 
The Lady Rams will host OCU on Saturday, April 9 in a DH at Sycamore Park.
