CHICKASHA, OK-- The Texas Wesleyan Softball Team (23-15, 13-11 SAC) lost both games of a DH against University of Science and Arts (41-6, 25-3) on Friday afternoon.

TXWES started behind early and could not make a comeback in a 9-0 loss to USAO on Friday.

The Lady Rams struggled to contain the USAO offense, giving up nine runs.

A single by Brynna Foster in the fourth inning was a positive for TXWES.

Taylor Tubbs led off in the circle for the Lady Rams Tubbs lasted four and two-thirds innings, allowing eight hits and nine runs and striking out three.

Mercedes Beltran and Brynna Foster each had one hit to lead the Lady Rams.

TXWES let the game slip away early and could not make a comeback in an 8-1 loss to USAO on Friday.

The Lady Rams struggled to put runs on the board and struggled on defense against USAO giving up eight runs.

Dylann Kaderka was on the mound for TXWES. Kaderka lasted three and two-thirds innings, allowing seven hits and seven runs all while striking out four. Arianna Lopez threw two and a third innings in relief striking out one.

TXWES  launched a one run home run on the day. Rhea-Ann Avalos hit a long ball in the second inning bringing the score to 1-2.

Devin Dunn and Rhea-Ann Avalos each collected one hit to lead TXWES SB in game 2.

TXWES will face Mid America CHristian in a DH on Saturday, April 23 at 12 and 2 p.m.
