The Lady Rams had back-to-back wins in as many days at Martin Field defeating Bethel College of Kansas 5-3.Â

Tameir Grosvenor got the Lady Rams off to a quick lead with a goal at 21:35 of play after seven previous attempts, including a corner kick at 12:47.
Nataly Gonzales gave the Lady Rams a 2-0 lead with an assist from
Lindsay Daugherty at 42:44 in the first period.Â

Bethel tried to get back into the game at 44:10 in the period with a Grace Anderson goal to trail 2-1 at the half. The Threshers came back from the half with renewed energy and a goal at 49:34.Â

Grosvenor answered for the Lady Rams off an assist by Daugherty at 55:08 in the game. From then on, the game was all Texas Wesleyan as Grosvenor accounted for two more goals for three total goals in the game.
Danica Kunschik scored the other Texas Wesleyan goal in the second period, while goalie
Reese Blanton logged three saves in the game to help hand the Threshers a 5-3 loss.Â

The win was the second for the Lady Rams at Martin Field, bringing their record to 2-0-0.

Next up for the Lady Rams is Friends University on Sept. 1 in Gateway Park. The last time the two teams met was in 2018 when the Rams took the 2-1 win.Â
