Texas A&M Texarkana dominated the Lady Rams at Martin Field Saturday evening, to take a 4-1 win. The loss was the third in a row for the Lady Rams at home, bringing their record to 2-3. 
 
The Lady Rams were scoreless until 71 minutes into the game when Cara Zwilling scored the Lady Rams' only goal. The Lady Rams were unable to stop the Eagles' Italia Avila, who scored two goals in 58 minutes of play. 
 
The Lady Rams' goalie Alex Ortiz had more saves in her 90 minutes of play with eight than the Eagles' two goalies combined at three, but it was the Eagles who put the pressure on Texas Wesleyan with 29 total shots for the game to Texas Wesleyan's nine. 
 
This is only the second time the Eagles have beaten Texas Wesleyan since 2014.

The Lady Rams have struggled at home the last two weeks but will try their luck on the road on Tuesday as they play a couple of LSU schools—Louisiana State University Alexandria on Sept. 13 and Louisiana State University Shreveport on Sept. 14.
