The Texas Wesleyan Rams (5-1-0) lost to the LSU-Shreveport Pilots (2-2-1), Sept. 13 at home as the Rams struggled to find the net.
The Pilots got the ball rolling early with a goal by Scott Neil in the first minute of the first half of the game. The Rams were struggling to find the net in the first half with eight total shots, four of which the Pilots saved.
The Rams first half offensive struggles continued  into the second half as they still had trouble finding the net. They took five more shots in the second half for a total of 13 shots in the game.Â
The Pilots were efficient in both halves as Maurice Theart scored at the 72nd minute mark assisted by Emiel Niuwhof. LSU-Shreveport finished with 10 total shots with 8 of them being on goal.
Next up for the Rams is Southwestern Christian University (1-2-0) at Martin Field. While the two are conference rivals, this is a non-conference matchp.
