The Rams beat the University of Science & Arts in three sets, 25-21, 25-18, 25-21, to keep their SAC sweeps at 4, extending their record to 10-2 overall and 4-0 in conference play.
Sydney Charlton and Kendal King led the Rams attackers with 10 kills each, while Lauran Richards had seven, and Maliah Linton and Sydney Alexander logged six kills each. Ruby O'Brien logged 22 assists and racked up 11 digs, while Catherine Wise had 18 assists.Â
Andrea Malek led all defenders from both teams with 20 digs for the match.
"We had a lot of players put up big numbers for us tonight to help contribute to this win," said Head Coach Jessica Ransom. "We had to work hard against a solid USAO team, and now we have to carry this win over to our match tomorrow against MACU."
The match against the Drovers of USAO was the first of two games on the road for the Rams, both against Oklahoma teams. The Rams will face Mid-America Christian University after the Evangels suffered a 3-1 loss to No. 10 Southwestern Assemblies of God 23-25, 25-20, 25-21-25-20, leaving the Lady Lions undefeated this season and moving MACU to 9-5 overall and 3-2 in the conference.
 The Rams come into the game against MACU, ranked No. 24 in the nation, with a spotless record against the Evangels at 22-0. The game will begin at 1 p.m. at Gaulke Activity Center in Oklahoma City.
