The Texas Wesleyan Men's Soccer (2-0) team hosted Lyon College Scots (1-3-1) on Sept.  3, 2022. 
The game took place at Gateway Park at 3:00 PM. The game was close in the first half, with TXWES having 7 shots compared to Lyon's 3. 
The half ended scoreless, with the Lyon's picking up a yellow card near the end of the half. 
The second half looked very promising for the Scots as they had several shots, but none could seem to find the back of the net. The Rams responded with several attempts, and one finally found the net. Shot by Oscar Odriozola with an assist from James Kerr made this his first goal of the season and made the score 1-0 at the 60-minute mark. 
Not too long after, another found the back of the net, but this time scored by Rylen Sybley, who Augustas Alsonis assisted, also being his first of the season, making the score 2-0 in the 69th minute of the match. The game ended 2-0.
 The Rams had 15 shots with 7 on the net, and the Scots with 9 and 4 being on target. You can catch your TXWES Men's Soccer Team at their next home game on Sept. 5, 2022, against Southwestern College at Martin Field; 11 AM start time.
