TXWES Men's Basketball (11-8, 8-5 SAC) beat Oklahoma City University (9-9, 7-5 SAC) in the Sid Richardson Center 89-81.

 The Rams led 41-39 going into halftime. TXWES shot 15-34 (44.12%) from the field, 5-12 (41.67%) from the three-point line and 6-6 (100%) from the free-throw line in the first half. In the second half, the Rams shot 16-36 (44.4%) from the field, 6-13 (46.15%) from the three-point line and 10-12 (83.33%) from the free throw line.

 For the game, TXWES was 31-70 from the field (44.3%), 11-25 from the three-point line (44%), and 16-18 from the free-throw line (88.9%). The Rams scored ten second-chance points, 36 points in the paint, and 18 points off turnovers.

 Head Coach
Brennen Shingleton recorded his 200th victory at the school during his eleventh season. Shingleton was able to record his milestone 100th win during the championship season of 2017, which saw the men win the NAIA Division 1 Title.
 The Rams will next play on the road on Jan. 21 against John Brown University in Siloam Springs, AK, with tip-off set for 3:45 PM.
