The TXWES Men's Basketball (12-9, 9-6 SAC) beat the University of North Texas-Dallas (12-6, 10-4 SAC) on Saturday, 100-69.

 The Rams led 52-24 going into halftime. TXWES shot 18-36 (50%) from the field, 5-12 (41.67%) from the three-point line and 11-13 (84.62%) from the free-throw line in the first half. In the second half, the Rams shot 20-31 (64.52%) from the field, 4-8 (50%) from the three-point line and 4-4 (100%) from the free throw line.

 For the game, TXWES was 38-67 from the field (57.6%), 9-12 from the three-point line (45%), and 12-14 from the free-throw line (85.7%). The Rams scored 12 second-chance points, 38 points in the paint, and eight points off turnovers.

 TXWES contained UNT-D to 25-66 shooting from the field (37.9%), 7-17 from the three-point line (41.2%) and 12-14 from the free-throw line (85.7%). UNT-D scored 28 points in the paint, eight points off turnovers and eight second-chance points.

Akili Vining led all scorers with 24 points, on 8-13 from the field and four rebounds.
Lamine Komara came off the bench to score 24 points, on 9-13 from the floor, including nine rebounds. Keyan Hoskins scored 13 points in 21 minutes.
Gavin Harris scored 12 points in 36 minutes, and rounding out the Rams in double-digits was
Juwan Jones with 11 points in 36 minutes.
 The Rams' next game is at home on Jan. 28 against the Southwestern Assemblies of God University. The game is also Alumni Day and has a scheduled 3:45 PM tip-off.
