The Texas Wesleyan Lady Rams (19-2, 14-1 SAC) secured another win on Thursday night at the Sid Richardson Center after defeating UNT Dallas, 79-69.

Senior Makayla Coy led the way for the Lady Rams with 22 points, shooting 5-11 from the field and 12-13 from the charity stripe. Two other Lady Rams added double digit scoring — senior Kertisa Amos scored 17 points on 7-13 FG shooting, and freshman Zarria Carter added 9 points and 11 rebounds to the team total.

Tacking on 24 points from turnovers, the lady rams ruled the court when it came to steals and rebounds. Texas Wesleyan grabbed the lead early in the first quarter and didn't let go, outscoring UNT Dallas in three of the four quarters.
