TXWES Men's Basketball (7-7, 4-4 SAC) beat Central Christian College (5-9, 3-5 SAC) on the road in McPherson, KS 97-75.
 
The Rams led 58-38 going into halftime. TXWES shot 23-42 (54.76%) from the field, 6-11 (54.55%) from the three-point line and 6-7 (85.71%) from the free-throw line in the first half. In the second half, the Rams shot 14-28 (50%) from the field, 3-8 (37.5%) from the three-point line and 8-12 (66.67%) from the free throw line.
 
 For the game, TXWES was 37-70 from the field (52.9%), 9-19 from the three-point line (47.4%), and 14-19 from the free-throw line (73.7%). The Rams scored eight second-chance points, 65 points in the paint, and 14 points off turnovers.
 
 TXWES contained CCCK to 29-68 shooting from the field (42.6%), 6--26 from the three-point line (23.1%) and 11-22 from the free-throw line (50%). CCCK scored 48 points in the paint, six points off turnovers, and 14 second-chance points.
 
Three Rams scored in double figures. Peyton Sallee led the Rams scoring 31 points, shooting 12-14 from the field, including 4-5 from three point range, in 36 minutes played. Gavin Harris scored 23 points, on 9-12 from the field in 36 minutes, and Juwan Jones came off the bench to score 10 points in 27 minutes. 
 
The Rams will next play on Jan. 7 at Langston University with tip-off set for 3:45 PM in Langston, OK. The next home contest will be on Jan. 12 against Wayland Baptist University with a 7:45 pm scheduled tip-off.
