MSOC: TXWES Beats SCU at Home 6-2

FORT WORTH, TX — On Saturday at Martin Field, Texas Wesleyan Rams triumphed over Southwestern Christian University Eagles with a final score of 6-2.

Texas Wesleyan's Luca Hoff opened the scoring at 14:11 with an assist from Augustas Aldonis. Southwestern Christian responded with a penalty kick goal by Lincoln Borges at 19:28. However, Mathis Guffroy scored another for TXWES at 20:33, giving the Rams a 2-1 lead at halftime.

In the second half, TXWES continued to assert their control over the match. Goals by Osvaldo Lopez, Mathis Guffroy, and Luca Hoff, all with assists, secured their victory. SCU managed to score another goal with Teejay Chiororo, assisted by the team and Oliver Pardoe, at 75:12. Chandler Brookins added one more for TXWES at 83:23, sealing the win.

During the game, several players received yellow cards, including Lincoln Borges, Andre Lopes, and Alejandro Saniz of SCU.

With this win, Texas Wesleyan improved to a season record of 5-5-3, including a conference record of 1-3-1. SCU's season record fell to 3-8-1, with a conference record of 2-3-0.
