OKLAHOMA CITY – No. 14 Texas Wesleyan defeated the University of Science and Arts in another thrilling five set match to close out the weekend. The Rams extended their conference record 14-0, still sitting at the top as the only undefeated team heading down the stretch.

Texas Wesleyan came into the match fresh off a five-set victory the previous night to face a well balanced USAO team. Much live the previous match; the two teams would trade set wins until each team were ties at two apiece.
The fifth set would see the two teams battling back and forth as nether team would pull completely away from the other. The set would see seven ties with the last coming at 13-13 all. The Rams would hold of their opponents to take the set and narrowly escape with a 15-13 set win.
Texas Wesleyan had a .162 hitting percentage, holding USAO to .115 in the victory.
Kendal King led the Rams with 14 kills followed by
Grace Pavelka with nine.
Carly Unruh came up big with four blocks, while King added three of her own.
Ruby O'Brien had a double-double performance with 30 assists and 14 digs.
Andrea Malek finished with 24 digs and added five service aces in the win.
The Rams return to the Sid Richardson Center next week to take on Oklahoma City University on Friday and John Brown University on Saturday.
