FORT WORTH -Â The Texas Wesleyan volleyball team defeated the Eagles of Southwestern Christian University in straight sets inside of the Sid Richardson Center Friday night. The Rams close out the regular season with a perfect 10-0 record heading into the final week conference play.

 Texas Wesleyan jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead after an ace from
Emily Lewis to open the match. SCU would do their best to keep it close, but once the Rams hit point 10, they would hit the gas pedal and run away with to game point as their opponents never found their footing. The Rams would close out the first set with three consecutive points to capture a 25-17 win.

Set 2
In set two the Rams would win handily again as The Eagles continued to struggle to put points on the board. The Rams would run away with the set as the Eagles would not get past 10 points in the loss. The Rams finished with a .452 hitting percentage with 15 kills and one error off 31 attempts.

A
Sydney Alexander kill would open the game and set the tone for the Texas Wesleyan. The Rams would go on a 6-0 run capped off by a service ace. The Eagles would call a timeout to regroup, but they were unable to find an answer as the Rams would continue their scoring run. Texas Wesleyan would cruise to the match victory, defeating the Eagles 25-10.

The Rams hit an impressive .420 behind 38 kills with just four errors.
Kendal King would lead both teams in Kills with 11.
Emily Lewis had a season high 18 digs and
Ruby O'Brien added 19 assists to her name.
