The game started with a riveting 1st quarter that underscored Texas Wesleyan's football prowess. It all began with a field goal by Blodgett Gerrit, swiftly propelling Texas Wesleyan to a 3-0 lead. The Rams proceeded to assert their dominance with two remarkable touchdown passes.
The Rams secured the first touchdown through a remarkable 28-yard connection from Francis Cole to Bobb AJ. Closely followed by an 11-yard pass from Rodgers Carson to Bobb AJ. Harrison Vernon extended their lead with a 14-yard touchdown run, and Blodgett Gerrit impeccably converted all extra-point attempts.
