On Saturday in the Sid Richardson Center, OUAZ beat Texas Wesleyan 80-70.
 

OUAZ clinched the victory with a dominant second half. The initial half concluded with Texas Wesleyan narrowly leading 36-35, but OUAZ reversed the momentum in the second half, outscoring their opponent 45-34.
 

Texas Wesleyan put up a strong performance, with Richard Amaefule leading the Rams scoring with 12 points, and Kris Lafayette made significant contributions with 10 points and 11 rebounds.
 

OUAZ was led by McKay Bundy, who scored a game high 29 points, with Jayce Catchings, contributing 25 points. The team exhibited improved shooting in the second half, boasting a 53.33% field goal percentage and 76.92% free throw percentage.
 

On the opposing side, Key statistics from the game highlight OUAZ's battle in the paint with 38 points and Texas Wesleyan's bench scoring 28 points. The lead changed four times, and the score was tied six times.
 

The Rams record fell to 1-2 with the loss, while OUAZ record improved to 3-1 early in the start of the season.
 

The Rams will next play against Our Lady of the Lake University on November 18 in San Antonio, TX with tipoff scheduled for 2 p.m. The Rams will return to the Sid Richardson Center on November 25 to play against North American University.
