OKLAHOMA CITY, OKLA. – The Sooner Athletic Conference released the bracket for the upcoming SAC volleyball tournament Sunday morning.
After wrapping up the regular season this weekend with a 1-1 record, Texas Wesleyan earned the No. 2 spot in the upcoming SAC Volleyball Championships that will begin Tuesday evening at the home sites of the top four seeds. SAGU Clinched the Sooner Athletic Conference Regular Season title and God the top seed while Mid-America Christian grabbed the No. 3 seed with John Brown garnering the No. 4 seed in the championships.
The Rams finished the season with an overall record of 23-5 and a league mark of 18-2. They will host No. 7 seed Panhandle State on Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. after the Aggies finished the season with an 8-16 overall record and a 7-13 conference mark. The Rams won both regular season contests in straight sets and will look to do it once more inside of the Sid Richardson Center.
The winners of the quarterfinals will move on to the semifinals on the SAGU's campus in Waxahachie, Texas on Friday, Nov. 10. The start times of the semifinals are set for 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. The championship match will take place on Saturday, Nov. 11, at noon.
