The #17 Texas Wesleyan Lady Rams beat Langston University 100-74 in a senior night rout of the Lady Lions.

Na'Teiona Cole showed out for the home crowd with their second 100-point game in a row.
Amos had her 21st game this season, scoring in double figures with 18 points, inching closer to the 1000-point mark for her Texas Wesleyan career with 908. She also snagged six rebounds in the game and had three steals.
Cole showed her defensive prowess with four steals, including a steal that took her coast-to-coast at the 4:38 point in the second quarter, giving Texas Wesleyan a 15-point lead. Cole grabbed three of her four steals in the second quarter, helping put the Lady Ram offense on track to a dominant 35-12 second quarter that proved the game-changer.
Coy scored 14 points, snagged eight rebounds and had three steals before going out of the game after a Langston player rolled into her under the basket. She still managed to score in double figures for the 21st time this season, hitting a season-high of 13 of 14 free throws.
Three other Lady Rams scored in double figures in the game.
Taryn Wills came off the bench for her 19th game in double figures, scoring 17 points, snagging six rebounds and leading the Lady Rams with five steals.
Zarria Carter had a season-high four blocks in addition to six rebounds and 14 points.
Mary Nyakundi also scored in double figures with 10 points.
Langston was only able to hold the lead once in the first quarter. From then on, the Lady Rams' defense forced turnovers, holding Langston to just 12 points in the second, while the Texas Wesleyan offense went on a shooting spree hitting 66.7% from the field in the second to outscore the Lady Lions 35-12. The Lady Lions could never recover from the deficit and turned what had been a physical game into a free-throw-filled second half, with the Lady Rams scoring 20 points on free throws in the final two quarters.
Texas Wesleyan dominated the paint 44-26 and scored 28 points off of turnovers to Langston's 19. The Lady Rams also cleared the boards with 21 to 12-second chance points.
The Lady Rams move to 23-3 overall and 18-2 in SAC play.
Texas Wesleyan's last two regular season games are on the road against Oklahoma Panhandle State University at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 16, followed by a 2 p.m. game against Wayland Baptist University in Plainview on Saturday, Feb. 18
