Texas Wesleyan cruised to a 22-11 victory against Central Christian in a college baseball game on Saturday.
Texas Wesleyan dominated from the beginning, scoring two runs in the first inning. The team's offense was fueled by solid performances from
Tomas Sanchez,
Jose Sosa, Grayson Barrett and Hayden Hutchens, who combined for 14 hits, six home runs, and 15 RBIs. Sanchez was the star of the game, hitting a two-run homer in the first inning and a three-run homer in the fourth inning. Sosa also had a three-run homer in the fifth inning, while Barrett hit a three-run one in the fourth.
Defensively, Texas Wesleyan's pitching struggled a bit, allowing 11 runs on nine hits. However, the team's offense needed to be stronger for Central Christian to keep up.
