WT&F: Rams Add Women's Hurdler Kenna Conner of Wills Point HS

Fort Worth, TX - Head Coach Randy Dalzell announced the signing of Wills Point High School women's track athlete Kenna Conner. Conner won the Farmersville Farmer Joe Relays in the 100m hurdles, placed 3rd in the UIL 4A Area 13-14 meet in the 100m hurdles, and placed 7th in the UIL 4A Region 2 meet. Her personal best is 15.69 seconds in the 100m hurdles. She also ran both the 4 x 100m relay and the 4 x 400 relay for her team and triple jumped. She will be a freshman majoring in criminal justice.

"Kenna is a great addition to our women's team! She is a highly competitive 100m hurdler, which is an area we needed to increase our depth in. She ran sprint relays and even jumped a little at her high school, so she is a very versatile athlete and should be fit into a number of key spots in our program," said Dalzell. "It's also nice that she is coming here with the high school teammate Kayla Jones, who signed earlier this spring with our women's track program. They will get to compete together as college teammates as well and maybe run some more relays together."
