MSOC: Rams Fall to Lions at Home

Fort Worth, TX - On Friday, Texas Wesleyan University lost 2-1 to the Southwestern Assemblies of God University (SAGU).

SAGU exhibited a strong start as Ethan Stewart found the net at 21:11. Stewart's stellar performance continued with a second goal at 71:00, courtesy of an assist by Pedro Figueiredo Mattoso. The Rams found their footing on the scoreboard at 83:25 with Osvaldo Lopez's successful penalty kick.

The game featured its share of disciplinary actions, including cautions issued to players from both sides. The teams remained evenly matched in terms of shots, saves, and corner kicks. However, SAGU's goalkeeper, David Calvete Beltra, made critical saves for the Lions' victory.
