DALLAS, TX – The Texas Wesleyan women's basketball took care of business on the road UNT-Dallas 78-60 on Monday evening inside of the Trinity Basin Preparatory Athletic Complex.
The Rams controlled the game from start to finish and saw three players reach double-figures with
Taryn Wills leading the way with 17 points and seven rebounds.
Texas Wesleyan would shoot 40% (26-64) from the field and knock down four three points shoots. The Rams had a solid showing from the free throw line going 22-28 in the victory.
Mary Nyakundi would add 16 points and
Savanna Smith would finish with 16 points.
Sophia Hurtado finished the contest just three points shy of a double-double performance with seven points and 10 rebounds.
The Rams return to the Sid Richardson Center Saturday for a match against cross town rival SAGU with a 2 P.M. tip-off.
