FORT WORTH, TX - Texas Wesleyan University (13-5, 9-1 SAC) extended their dominant streak with a decisive 3-0 win over Oklahoma City (7-10, 7-4 SAC), marking their fourth consecutive three-set victory.
The Rams showcased their strength from the start, winning 25-19, 25-12, 25-18, and improving their record to seven wins out of their last ten matches, all with a 3-0 scoreline.
Makenna Gantt led the team with 12 kills and two aces, Shelby Martin added ten kills and Sydney Alexander contributed three blocks. The Rams were also strong defensively, with Emily Lewis recording 17 digs.
The Stars struggled to find a rhythm, hitting just .078 compared to Texas Wesleyan's .324. Ruby Kelley led the Stars with nine kills and two blocks.
The Rams will next play on Tuesday against conference rival Nelson University at 7 p.m. in Waxahachie, TX.
