FORT WORTH, TX - On Friday, Texas Wesleyan University (19-8, 15-4 SAC) swept Central Christian College of Kansas (1-24, 1-18 SAC) in straight sets (25-13, 25-11, 25-19), in Fort Worth, Texas.  

The Rams showcased efficient offensive play, recording a team-hitting percentage of .258 compared to Central Christian's -.093. Makenna Gantt led Texas Wesleyan with nine kills, while Lyric Biggiers and Sydney Alexander contributed six kills each. Setter Ruby O'Brien distributed the ball well, tallying 18 assists and two service aces.

Texas Wesleyan also excelled defensively, with Alexander and Grace Pavelka combining for nine blocks and Biggiers leading in digs with nine.

Central Christian struggled offensively but saw contributions from Amanda Dotter, who led with four kills and eight digs, and Emmi Burris, who recorded three blocks. Zoe Smith provided 11 assists, and Alysen Harris added two service aces for the Tigers.

The Rams will play against Langston University at 1 p.m., on Saturday.
