OKLAHOMA CITY, OK – Texas Wesleyan University (21-8, 17-4 SAC) secured the second seed in the Sooner Athletic Conference (SAC) Volleyball Tournament with a commanding 3-0 victory over Oklahoma City University (15-12, 15-6 SAC) on Friday.

The Rams swept the match 25-20, 25-23, and 25-17 at Abe Lemons Arena, displaying consistency and precision in their attack.

Makenna Gantt led Texas Wesleyan with nine kills and two aces, while Migdaly Bernal and Hanna Rubis added seven and six kills, respectively. Rubis also tallied three blocks, contributing to Texas Wesleyan's defensive edge.

Ruby O'Brien recorded 15 assists and 11 digs, tying Lyric Biggiers for the team lead in digs. Texas Wesleyan outperformed Oklahoma City in kills (38-31), assists (36-29), and digs (52-41), ending the regular season on a high note as they prepare for the SAC Tournament.

The Rams will next host the quarterfinals of the SAC Tournament at the Sid Richardson Center at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, with an opponent to be named after the regular season on Sunday.
