FORT WORTH, TX -  On Sunday, in Sycamore Park, TXWES beat the Benedictine College of Kansas 6-3 in the first of two scheduled games, with the second canceled due to weather conditions.

In the first inning as Benedictine (KS) seized an early lead, orchestrated by Tyler Marchand's double that brought in Miles Holmquist.

Swiftly responding, Texas Wesleyan unleashed its offensive might. Brandon Rincones launched a commanding home run to left center, scoring JD Padgett.

The second inning saw Texas Wesleyan continuing their offensive dominance, with Chase Cos doubling to left center and propelling Logan Silvertooth across the plate. Hayden Hutchens added to the lead with a single to right center, driving in Cos and solidifying Texas Wesleyan's advantage.
