BETHANY, OK – On Saturday, Texas Wesleyan secured a dominant victory over Southwestern Christian with a final score of 14-4.

Starting pitcher Sutton Tidwell delivered a solid performance, pitching five innings and allowing only four runs while striking out three. Garrett Bodine then took the mound, pitching the remaining four innings without conceding a single run.

Texas Wesleyan took an early lead in the first inning as Angel Polanco's double brought in Rody Garcia. The momentum continued in the second inning with Brandon Rincones and Jake Spencer contributing RBIs. The third inning saw TJ Tomlinson doubling to bring in Hayden Hutchens, extending the lead to 4-0.

However, the highlight came in the explosive fourth inning, where Texas Wesleyan added seven more runs. Garcia's double, Polanco's RBI double, and a series of hits from Logan Silvertooth, Tomlinson, and Rincones fueled the offensive onslaught.

SWC attempted a comeback in the fifth, scoring four runs, but Texas Wesleyan's pitching and defense held strong.

In the eighth inning, Spencer added two more RBIs with a single, securing the commanding lead. The final run came in the ninth inning when Hutchens tripled to bring in Conner DeLeon, capping off the impressive offensive showcase.

The Rams return home this weekend for a series against the University of Science & Arts of Oklahoma, with two games scheduled for Friday with game one slated to start at noon.
