FORT WORTH, TX– The Texas Wesleyan softball team faced off against Southwestern Christian University in doubleheader Friday afternoon. The Rams would drop both games against the Eagles suffering an 8-13 loss in game one and 0-3 loss in game two.

rd inning the Rams would be trailing 3-0 after the Eagles got off to a quick start. With the bases loaded, SCU would walk

Krysta White in for Texas Wesleyan's first score of the day. The Rams would keep this momentum going as
Kylie Barnes would send a ball out of the park the very next pay to take the 5-3 lead. SCU would come storming back in the next four innings to outscore the Texas Wesleyan 10-3. The offense of the Eagles proved to be too much for the Rams as they would go on to take game one 13-8.
Much like the first game, the following contest would see SCU get on the board first scoring a run at the top of the 3
rd inning. The game would remain scoreless for both teams heading into the final inning of the day as neither team could find a way to break free. SCU would once again be the first to break the scoring drought as they would score two crucial runs to take the 3-0 lead over Texas Wesleyan. The Rams would do their best to tie things up, but the Eagles would once again hold on to their lead to close out game two.
Texas Wesleyan will wrap-up the series on Saturday with 12 p.m. first pitch at Sycamore Park. Immediately follow game one the Rams will honor it's seniors in the final home game of the season.
