WSOC: Rams Fall to UT Permian Basin on the Road

Odessa, TX - Texas Wesleyan (1-5-0) faced the University of Texas Permian Basin (1-0-1) in a non-conference soccer matchup at UTPB Soccer Field in Odessa, Texas, with UTPB winning 2-0.

The game began with a quick strike from Tex. Permian Basin's Cassandra Ramirez scored in the first minute (00:32) from 20 yards out, sending a shot from the left side past the Texas Wesleyan goalkeeper, Maggie Cambell. This early goal set the tone for the match with Tex. Permian Basin controlled possession and pace throughout.
