Langston, OK - After dropping their first conference game last weekend, the Texas Wesleyan volleyball team bounced back with a sweep over Langston University to improve to 6-1 in SAC play.

From the first serve, the Rams reminded everyone why they are still one of the top teams in the SAC. Texas Wesleyan jumped out to an 8-4 while Langston struggled to find their footing. The Rams would finish the set with 17 kills hitting a .458 with just five errors in the 25-17 set victory. Â

The second set proved to be a repeat of the previous, however the Lions would do their best to keep it close. Texas Wesleyan would go on a mini run to pull away from their opponents at 17-12. From here it was smooth sailing as the Rams would go on to win set two 25-17 again.

In the third set, Texas Wesleyan never looked back, securing the match with a commanding 25-9 win, led by an impressive .600 hitting percentage and a four service aces.

Game notes:
- The Rams had a season's best team performance finishing with 48 kills off 72 attempts with only two errors for a .500 hitting percentage
- Grace Pavelka led all players with a career high 14 kills.
- Migdaly Bernal and Makenna Gantt each added nine kills a piece
- Ruby O'Brien added 20 assists while Ruby Rumohr finished with 10 of her own
- Makenna Dillow finished the night with 10 digs.

The Rams are back in action tomorrow for another Sooner Athletic Conference match against Central Christian College in McPherson, KS. The match is set to begin at 1:00 PM.
