In the first set, the Rams started hot with six kills to start up 8-1 on the Lions. Migdaly Bernal had four kills early in the set to give the Rams an early lead and help the team start with control of the set. The Rams offense continued to overpower the Lions as they continued to score with aggressive kills from Victoria Smith, Hanna Rubis, and Sydney Alexander. The Rams found themselves up 20-12 with the end of the set in sight. The Rams powered past the Lions to earn five more points and take the set by a score of 25-18 with the help of Lyric Biggiers who helped the Rams win the final point.

The second set started the same as the first with Biggiers and Rubis leading the charge for the Rams to go up 7-1. The Lions battled back to close the gap to five as the Rams only held a 12-7 lead. The Rams offense came alive again as they started to separate themselves, increasing their lead as each point passed. Rubis and Smith continued to dominate as the Rams found themselves up 20-11 with a second set in mind. The Rams won five of the next eight points to take set two by a score of 25-14.

In the third set, the Rams were eyeing a sweep while the Lions were looking to stay in the match. The Rams once again got out to an early lead with Emily Lewis recording three service aces to give the Rams a 6-0 lead. The Rams used that momentum as Lillian Breaux and Alexander both contributed service aces as well to keep the Lions off balance. The Rams continued to not only control the set, but dominate as they found themselves up 20-8 with the match just a few points away. Alexander shut the door on the Lions and gave the Rams a 25-10 third set victory as well as a sweep.

Alexander led the team with nine kills, followed by Rubis with eight. Ruby Rumohr helped aid the Rams attack with 19 assists. Lewis led the team in digs with 10. Breaux added six service aces along with Lewis who recorded four.
